After months of misery trying to adjust to a Toshiba (annoying track pad, cumbersome double-clicking system, slow noisy start-up, highly unstable environment with spontaneous crashes, permanent sleeping sickness (unable to awake from sleep mode) etc, etc.) I ante'd up a few dollars for this machine. A wonderful change for the better. The keys and track pad are great, the machine was easy to set up and so far, two weeks in, everything is great. Two thumbs up for the affordable VAIO.
