I got my Dell Studio 1555 two days ago, and haven't even turned it on yet (been busy reading all the horrible reviews on the Dell Community site (problems with EVERYTHING).
Anyway, I was absolutely astounded by the moronic design of the adapter/battery charger. The plug-in cord that attaches to the battery on one end and has the three-prong plug on the other (to plug into the wall), is only three feet long! (I've never seen one shorter than six feet before.) It's actually shorter than that because the cord is fix-routed over the length of the adapter, rather than allowing it to come straight out the end of the adapter.
